Otamatea High School Netball Club

The Otamatea Netball Club provides for Senior (Y9-Y13) and Junior (Y8-Y7) players.  A weekly competition is held at Rodney Netball Centre, Centennial Park, Wellsford. All Senior teams play on Friday nights, first round starts at 6pm,then 7pm, 8pm.  All Junior teams play on Saturday mornings, first round starts 8.25am last round 11.30am.

Tournament Week 
Our Club also participates in UNISS (Upper North Island Secondary Schools) tournament held in Papakura this year.  And our top Junior team enters AIMS held in Tauranga every year.

The Club is always looking for new members to help with running the Club.  We are also keen to hear from people who are interested in being a coach, manager or committee member.

Team Training Information
Team 1 (Senior) and UNISS Squad - Monday and Wednesday mornings at OHS 6.30am to 7.45am Monday Development Squad and Team 1 players attend.  Boxing Session every fortnight from 5pm – 6pm.

Profile Club Players

Former Head Girl at Otamatea High School and club player. Jessica Moulds is a current Silver Fern Netball player, who currently plays for the Canterbury Tactix in the ANZ Championship. Formerly a shooter, she can play in the GK and GD positions. Moulds formally played for the Northern Mystics. 

Former Team 1 Vice Captain, Michelle Schmanski is current playing for Baytex in Waitakere in the Super 14 competition. Michelle was selected for the Netball Northern Squad in 2016. Michelle plays in the C, WD, GD, WA positions
