Year 8 homeroom teacher:  We seek an enthusiastic, innovative, highly motivated, organised and culturally responsive teacher to work in our year 7 and 8 syndicate.  Experience and skills with forming OTJs and embedding ICT into the curriculum are preferable.  Please state curriculum strengths.  Permanent part time position (0.4 FTTE) starting Tuesday 23rd May 2017 or earlier by negotiation.  (Primary or secondary trained teachers are welcome to apply).

Itinerant music teachers

Otamatea High School is seeking itinerant music teachers who can teach any of the following instruments: voice, guitar, piano, drums, violin, and cello. 

We seek excellent and engaging itinerant music teachers for 2017 on the above stated instruments, with exact hours to be determined by student interest and available funding.  The positions are fixed-term and tutors would ideally be able to teach students of all skill levels, have culturally responsive teaching, and maintain high expectations of students' achievements.   Start date through negotiation.
